Gooserbat Game Calls — Diaphragm Calls

One & Done: Finesse at it's finest. The One & Done is a single reed with a modified Boss Hen cut. The one & Done is for the guy who wants to keep it simple or the caller wanting a finesse call for either soft tree talk or to bring a gobbler those last few yards when being hands free is important.

Hillbilly: The Hillbilly is our most popular call and the staple of the Big 6. It is a top reed of latex over two reeds of proph. Its built with a modified V cut and plays with a nasal rasp.

Soul Sister: The same yellow latex over two reeds of proph that is found on the Hillbilly but in a Ghost Cut. This call is a top selling Big 6 call and has the best yelp of the bunch. It plays with a pronounced two note yelp with a clear front and raspy back end. It doubles up as a great Kee Kee call.

Wild Bill: A medium weight top reed over two thin reeds with a little twist to the classic split V cut. We set the "V" back in the top reed to make a little different version of the modified V. It takes a little edge of the rasp and has some backbone for a call that can be pushed without being overblown. Has a medium pitch for a true hen sound.

Double Bit: The Double Bit is one of the three original mouthcalls. This three reed call features the “Ax Cut” in the top reed which is the best of both a split V and a Batwing. It plays with a throaty rasp of an old hen and has earned its place as a staple in the Gooserbat call line.

Heckler: The Heckler is the Queen of rasp however it doesn’t lose its tone. Built with a single reed of medium gray latex over two reeds of natural light weight latex for a three reed call that will play with attitude.

Classic Hen: The Classic is just that. This style of call has been around for a long time and continues to call turkeys. We build ours with two reeds of medium weight natural latex and clip the corners of the top reed. This mouth call has a lighter rasp but excellent tone. A great change up call and a easy call for the beginner.

Xtra Fancy: This modified ghost cut is a merging of a ghost cut and a V cut for the playing style of the ghost cut and the added rasp of a V cut. It a medium stretch latex call.

Bacon: The Bacon is our cult classic. It was designed by staffer Bret Graves as a pure hunting call. This three reed is easy to play and hits the spot as a call that medium tone and medium rasp. It sounds very turkey. In fact it sounds so good that when we first started building it people would ask what we were going to call it, and we said “Bacon, because it’s that good.”

Tom Swatter: The Tom Swatter is one off our Big 6 calls as it's a top seller. It's a three reed with Gray latex over two G2 reeds. It's cut in a Batwing and has a relaxed stretch for a throaty old hen call that demands a toms attention.
